Description: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 Employment Survey saw a much lower response rate than typical survey years.Where businesses did not respond in 2021, information from previous years were carried over.An exception to above were the employment counts. In order to best identify the employment count in Halton Region, inferential statistics were used to adjust the employment count at businesses that did not response in 2021.Beginning in 2020, the Employment Survey updated its database tables as part of the platform update. Refer to metadata below for description of the fields in this updated dataset.
